He was predeceased by: his parents, John Crews and Villa Mahan Crews (Margaret Ellen Matthew); and his siblings, Sandy Crews, Bill Crews, Leslie Crews and Edith Crews St Clair.
He is survived by: his sons, Eugene L. Crews (Dawn) of Lynchburg and Douglas E. Crews (Vicky) of Altavista; his grandchildren, Nicole Suozzo, Cheyenne Crews and Benjamin D. Crews; and his sisters, Shelby Crews Taggart of Blackstone, Frances Crews Williams of Victoria and Nancy Crews Elder of Kenbridge.
