We are sad to announce that on June 13, 2024, at the age of 91, Janie Ashworth Epperson (Lynchburg, Virginia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
Though Janie Ashworth may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Janie Ashworth touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Sam Ashworth and Florence Ashworth; her husband James L. Epperson; and her siblings, Sam Ashworth, Jr., Carlton Ashworth, Mary Louise Ashworth Haley and Rebecca "Becky" Ashworth.
She is survived by: her children, Ron Epperson (Jennifer) of San Marcos, TX and Lisa Paxton (Steve) of Lynchburg; and her grandson Brandon Vest. She is also survived by five grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
