She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Edwin Carr and Edna Meeds Carr; and her husband William Donald Marlin, Jr.. She is survived by: her children, Lynn Carr Marlin Carter (Jim), Carleen Marlin Stidham (Glenn), Roxanne Marlin Jenkins (David) and William Donald Marlin, III (Leslie); and her brother Albert Edwin Carr. She is also survived by six grandchildren, eight great grandchildren.

A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
