She is survived by: her husband Robert Alexander Whisnant (Bob); her children, Dr. Robert Andrew Whisnant, Thomas Eliot Whisnant and Elizabeth Jane Whisnant; her grandchildren, Marion, Caroline, Stuart (Clara), Ashley, Brian, Alex, Ben, Nesya, Amiel and Selilah; and her great grandchildren, Boyd and Hugh.
