She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert Wright and Inez Coffey Wright; her siblings, Buddy Wright, Bill Wright, Phillip Wright, Easter Taylor and Massie Tyree; and her husband Curtis "Pete" Pritchett.

She is survived by: her daughter Charlotte Hudson Fluharty; her son-in-law Scott Fluharty; her grandsons, Andrew and Tristan; and her sister Ruby Edwards of Amherst. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In lieu of flowers, donations are welcome and can be made in Dottie's honor to support animal rescue efforts in North Carolina and Florida.
