He was predeceased by: his parents, James Neal Sr. and Zula Johnson. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Johnson; his children, Tim (Tracey), Kristal, Jeremy (Dawn), Jimmy and Marliesa (Lary); his grandchildren, Taylor, Austin, Alexis (Tim), Linus, Oliver, Grace (Jeremy), Ana, Micayla and Clay (Marliesa); and his brother-in-law Bob Rowland (Brenda). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and many cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, February 8th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502).
