James Brent Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James Brent in Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on July 29, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, William Haynes Brent and Bernice Wilson Brent; and his brothers, Otis and Kent Brent. He is survived by: his sister Ann B. Ronk of Lynchburg; his friend George Nash of Lynchburg; his daughter Melinda Burford (Robert) of Norfolk; his grandsons, Brendan and Mark; and his nephews, Rick Burkholder (Debbie) of Lynchburg, Wyman Brent of Germany and Landon Brent (Linda) of Florence, SC..
