She was predeceased by: her husband Marvin C. Adamson; and her parents, Otis Basil and Lena Godsey Mayberry. She is survived by: her sister Margaret Layne of Lynchburg; her nephew Richard Chewning; and her nieces, Pat Grubbs and Audrey Lindsay. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
