He was predeceased by: his wife Shirley C. Jefferson; his daughters, Sandra Lynn and Beverly Gail; his parents, Walter and Ruby; and his siblings, Ortwin, Elmer and Vernell.
He is survived by: his sister Christine Brown; his children, Glenn E. Jefferson, Jr. (Frosty) of Lewiston, Glenda Sue Lillard (Steve) of Wasilla and Terry W. Jefferson (Julie) of Lynchburg, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Sarah Bennett (Randy), Laura Thayer (John), Phillip Lillard (Sarah), Laura Lillard (Aaron), Ashley Patenaude (Daniel), Andrew Jefferson (Jessica) and Jessica Spelman (David). He is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, and many extended family.
