With heavy hearts, we announce the death of George Robert Jones of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 22, 2024 at the age of 71. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Ann; his children, Sarah Ellis, John and Mark Jones; his granddaughter Corrynn McAlexander; his siblings, Lillian Flowers and Steve Jones; his parents, Reverend Walter Louis Jones and Anne Cooley Jones; his brother W. Louis Jones Jr.; and his nephew Robbie Jones. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting that donations be made by check to Life Outreach, P.O. Box 11734, Lynchburg VA 24506.
