It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Frances Moorefield Hedrick of Lynchburg, Virginia, who passed away on May 29, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Gordon David Hedrick; her parents, James Douglas Moorefield and Gertrude Moorefield; her siblings, Jean M. Green, Glennie M. Ewing and Vincent G. Moorefield; and her grandson Brandon Wayne Hedrick.

She is survived by: her sons, Philip G. Hedrick (Robin) of Concord and Karl D. Hedrick (Catherine) of Evington; her grandsons, William D. Milton, Karl M. Hedrick (Brooke), Daniel G. Hedrick and Bryan E. Hedrick; her great grandchildren, Kaley Hedrick, Brianna Hedrick and Maggie Hedrick; her great great grandchild Victoria Hedrick; and her friend Norma Tuggle. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to Calvary Baptist Church in Frances's name.
