She was predeceased by: her parents, Vara Mitchell Wood and Holcomb T. Wood; and her siblings, Lois W. McWane, Sandra W. Farrar and H. T. Wood, Jr..
She is survived by: her sister Kitty Vaughan Hickman (Adrian). She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Weissert Chapel at Westminster Canterbury (501 V. E. S. Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24503).
