She was predeceased by: her parents, Nelson Page Dowdy and Evelyn Dolly Brizendine Dowdy. She is survived by: her sister Brenda Nuckles of Lynchburg; her niece Stacey N. Jones; her nephew Mitchell W. Nuckles; her great-nieces and great-nephews, Lisa Agee, Lauren Wilson, Jonathon Jones, Sarah Barbour, Erin Nuckles and Landon Nuckles; her friends, Donna and Kathy; and also, Makayla Agee, Clayton Wilson, Ross Wilson, Page Barbour and Madison Barbour. She is also survived by cousins and other extended family and friends.

Those wishing to make memorial contributions are asked to consider Fairview Christian Church, Tuesday night meal ministry.
