She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie Oertel, Sr. and Allie Iona Browning Oertel; her husband Roy Wallace Duncan, Sr.; and her siblings, Willie Oertel, Jr., Theresa Shelton, Joyce Ingle, Robert Oertel, Dorothy Lynn, Bula Tunstall, Minnie Taylor, Walter Oertel, Christine Frazier and Nancy Mildred.

She is survived by: her children, Roy Duncan, Jr., Michael Duncan (Linda), Linda Hays (Bill) and Kelly Good (Christopher); her grandchildren, Jennifer Hays (Subodh Samudre), Sarah Hays, Michael Duncan (Ellie), Amy Horsely (David), Copper Good and Camden Good; and her great grandchildren, April, James and Daniel Duncan.
