She was predeceased by: her husband Paul C. Sturgill; her son Brett Sturgill; her parents, Paul G. Pugh, Sr. and Alta F. Pugh; and her sister Helen Marie Pugh.
She is survived by: her siblings, Joan P. Shutt (Terry), Mark Pugh (Tracy), Kathy Plourde, Penny Dooley and Paul G. Pugh, Jr. (Marlene). She is also survived by nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:50 PM at the Thomas Road Baptist Church (1 Mountain View Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Wednesday, November 13th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
