He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Hudson and Gladys Alexander; and his sisters, Dorothy Bolding and Nadine Alexander. He is survived by: his children, Tomika Alexander (Jason) and Dewey Alexander, Jr.; his brother Roger Alexander (Felda); his aunt Elaine Wright; his uncle Paul Alexander, Sr.; and his brother-in-law Ernest Bolding.
Visitation was held on Friday, April 11th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Tharp Funeral Home & Crematory-Lynchburg (220 Breezewood Dr, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A celebration of life was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
Dewey's kind heart and love for children was expressed with his yearly donations to St. Jude.
