He was predeceased by: his parents, John Best and Mazie Best; his son Emmanuel Best; and his sister Muriel Best. He is survived by: his wife Irma L. Best; his children, Debra, Clyde Jr., Claude (Karlina), Edwin and Elijah Best; and his siblings, Donna, Mona, Steve, Robert, Reginad Best of Port and Trinidad.
