Cheryl Middlesworth Griffin Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Cheryl Middlesworth Griffin of Lynchburg, Virginia, born in Elgin, Illinois, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 13, 2025 at the age of 78. She was predeceased by: her parents, Malbert Middlesworth and Jo Jean Middlesworth; and her brother Terry Middlesworth. She is survived by: her children, Sarah Manwarren (Jason) of Evington, VA and Nicholas "Joey" Griffin of Hollywood, CA; her sister Susan Cox (Todd) of Loveland, CO; her nieces, Jaime Peterson (Scott) of Windsor, CO and Melissa Stepler (Dan) of Stafford, VA; her nephew Ricky Middlesworth (Ben) of North Hills, CA; and her grandchildren, Madison Manwarren (Liberty), Lennie Manwarren (James Madison), Lincoln Manwarren and Parker Manwarren. She is also survived by numerous cousins from her extensive family.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Blue Ridge Community Church (2361 New London Rd, Forest, VA 24551).
