With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carlos DeVaughan Callaham- Marshall (Lynchburg, Virginia), who passed away on November 12, 2024 at the age of 50. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his father William Robert Callaham; and his grandparents, Clarence, Matilda Callaham, William and Clara McCoy.
He is survived by: his mother Julia McCoy Callaham Wharton of Virginia Beach, VA; his bonus-mom Angela "Ann" Callaham; his siblings, Deidra L. Harris (Vincent) of Chesapeake, VA, Edward Marshall, Jr., Andre D. Callaham-Marshall of Virginia Beach, VA, Tahirah Callaham-Stephans (Dennis) of Forest, VA and Alneesha Callaham of Forest, VA; his children, Kiala Marshall-Gutierrez, Carley Marshall, Caleb Marshall, Taysia Hicks and Jayden Hicks; his aunts, Darlene G. McCoy, Clara McCoy-Jones, Elizabeth Ann Thompson and Eyvonne McCoy-Green; his great-aunts, Evelyn Rudder and Carrie Burns; his uncles, Theodore A. McCoy and Frederick McCoy; and his great-uncle Archie Maitlin Callaham. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews and family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, November 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Davis-Turner Funeral Service (1016 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24504). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 21st 2024 at 12:00 PM at the Funeral Davis-Turner Funeral Service (1016 Rivermont Ave, Lynchburg, VA 24504).
