She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert G. Denton, Sr. and Kittie B. Denton; her brothers, Donald A. Denton, Kenneth N. Denton (Shelby) and Albert G. Denton, Jr. (Phyllis); her aunt Bertha B. Elliott; her cousin Jones L. Elliott, Jr.; and her close friend Betty A. Arthur.
She is survived by: her nieces and nephews, Kim D. Arthur (Allen), Tami D. Smoot (Todd), Derek W. Denton and Donna G. Keesee (Richard); and her close friend Joan B. Evans.
She was committed to helping others, whether through her charitable work with Meals on Wheels, her contributions to Shriners Children Hospital and Wounded Warriors.
