She is survived by: her daughter Latoya Carter; her grandchildren, Ja'Miracle Carter and Marrco Smith; her sisters, Mary and Sheila Carter; her nieces, Cynthia Wilson of Lynchburg, Angela Johnson (Leroy) of Lynchburg, Latasha Carter (Mark) of Lynchburg and Takia Carter (Bobby) of Lynchburg; her godmother Wanda Brown of Monroe, Virginia; and her close friend Mary Ellen Anderson. She is also survived by great nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
