He was predeceased by: his parents, John Gowen and Margie Gowen; and his uncles, Timothy and Billy Vest. He is survived by: his spouse Shaneika Gowen; his children, Adam Gowen, Jr., Jayden Gowen and Mason Gowen; his sister Tina Jacques; his nephews, Tommy and Michael Jacques; and his aunts and uncles, Joyce (PeeWee), Eddie Slusser, Brenda Shores and Roy Vest.
