We are sad to announce that on September 6, 2020, at the age of 73, Willard Earl Mattox of Lynch Station, Virginia passed away. He was predeceased by: his parents, Douglas Warren Mattox and Grace Lee Worley Mattox; and his siblings, Warren, Leo, Wilbur, Paul, Howard, Carlton, James, Wayne Mattox, Beatrice Craddock, Kathleen Quinn, Rachel Mattox, Jean Goad and Nellie Brooks.

He is survived by: his wife Ellen Sue Sheetz; his children, Kathryn Mattox, Kenneth Mattox and Kelli Mattox; and his siblings, Frank Mattox (Lucinda), Lillian Williamson, Donald Mattox (Louise) and Lois Money. He is also survived by nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
