He was predeceased by: his parents, Addie Foster Mattox and Annie Louise Fitzpatrick Mattox. He is survived by: his wife Maxine Gibbs Mattox; his children, Jeffrey D. Mattox (Margie), Roger L. "Pete" Mattox, Joanne Rowles and Bonnie M. Fielder (Timmy); his grandchildren, Daniel Rowles (Maggie), Brittany F. Coleman (Brad), Bethany L. Fielder (Bryan) and Jordan Mattox (Corey); his great grandchildren, Reagan Jones, Easton Coleman, Addison Coleman, Jayden Gross, Megan Walker and Cody Walker; and his brother Gene Mattox (Maxine).
