He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee Gibson and Nell Hayden Gibson; and his siblings, Viola Hedrick, Ralph Gibson, Martin Gibson, Neal Gibson and Reid Gibson.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Holland Gibson; his daughter Linda Gibson Hogan (Glenn) of Lynch Station; his granddaughter Michelle Hogan Lloyd (Devin) of Lynch Station; and his pets, Mack and Bo.
