It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Herbert Alfred Ashwell of Lynch Station, Virginia, who passed away on July 27, 2022, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Otey L. Ashwell and Goldie Rutter Ashwell. He is survived by: his wife Hilda Creasy Ashwell; and his sons, Lewis Ruff, Melvin Ruff (Diane) and Michael Ashwell (Annette). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild.
