She was predeceased by: her parents, James Crouch and Osie Wood Crouch; her husband Welford Dewey Howell; her sister Dorothy; her brother-in-law Andrew Payne; and her brother Odell Crouch.

She is survived by: her daughter Sonya M. Howell; and her nieces, Yvonne Widmer, Lorraine Woodward and Jeanette Edwards. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews & friends.
