He is survived by: his children, Judith Targett and William Russell Pooton, Jr. (Susan); his brother Kenneth Norman Pooton; his grandchildren, Mollye Lauren Pooton, Karey Blanchard (Tim), Kyle Targett, Tori Targett and Courtney Logan Pooton; and his great grandchild Kaia Targett.
