He was predeceased by : his parents, Charles Collier and Ella Meadows Collier; his wife Leatha Shifflett Collier of Virginia; his siblings, Howard Collier, Alden Collier, Ruth Reid, Bertie Gordon, Bessie Gordon, Lillie Eppard, Mearl Shifflett and Sue Wright; and his children-in-law, Glinda Collier and Emmett Rash Jr. Mr.
He is survived by : his children, John Lee Collier, Sr. of Marshall, Linda Louise Rash of Apollo Beach and Kathy Marie Hamilton (Mike) of Front Royal; his grandchildren, John Lee Collier Jr., Stacey Nalls, Christina Collier and Jennifer Blevins; and his great grandchildren, Gary, William, Katrina, Joshua, Leah, Victoria, Jessica and Shaylee. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
