She was predeceased by: her husband Alvin "Sonny" Tompakov; her son Steven Tompakov; her grandson Richard Tompakov; her sister Belle Slamovitz; and her parents, Dora Fleischer and Jacob Fleischer.

She is survived by: her daughter Sherry Ford (Thomas); and her grandchildren, Sheryl Schuster (Mark), Michael Tompakov (Courtney), Hayden Myers (Theresa), Stacy Myers and Justin Myers (Alysa). She is also survived by ten great grandchildren.
