He was predeceased by : his parents, Joseph Daniel Moore and Ruth Bittinger Moore; his brothers, Buddy and Tommy Moore; and his son-in-law Rickie Rutherford.

He is survived by : his wife Norma Jean Moore; his children, Tammy Rutherford, Barry Moore Jr. (Tabitha), Joseph Moore and Lonnie Moore; and his siblings, Donnie Moore (Betty), Darlene Mc Carter, Brenda Mullins (Chuck) and Wayne Moore (Emma). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
