It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barry Daniel Moore Sr. of Luray, Virginia, who passed away on July 6, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Daniel Moore and Ruth Bittinger Moore; his brothers, Buddy and Tommy Moore; and his son-in-law Rickie Rutherford.

He is survived by: his wife Norma Jean Moore; his children, Tammy Rutherford, Barry Moore Jr. (Tabitha), Joseph Moore and Lonnie Moore; and his siblings, Donnie Moore (Betty), Darlene Mc Carter, Brenda Mullins (Chuck) and Wayne Moore (Emma). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
