He is survived by: his significant other Marjorie T. Paynter; his son Michael Paynter (Amanda); his grandchildren, Joshua, Micajah and Skylar; and his siblings, Robert Paynter, John Paynter (Celeste), Lois Powers (Harvey), Loretta Loftis (Warren) and Vicki McBride.
