He was predeceased by: his wife Kathleen Showalter Campbell; his son Randy P. Campbell Sr.; his grandson Brian I. Waltz; and his parents, William Henry Campbell and Carrie Hatter Campbell Ashley.
He is survived by: his children, Willie D. Campbell II (W. D.) of Piney River, VA, Dianne E. Wheeler of Marlette, MI and William L. Campbell (Dilly) of Lynchburg, VA; and his caregiver Shana Campbell. He is also survived by 19 grandchildren, a number of great grandchildren; and a daughter-in-law.
Visitation was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Service (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at 1:45 PM and at 2:00 PM at the Heritage Funeral Service & Crematory (427 Graves Mill Rd, Lynchburg, VA 24502). A burial was held on Sunday, December 15th 2024 at the Jonesboro Cemetery.
