She was predeceased by: her parent Ted Hovatter; her son Duane Edward; and her siblings, Margaret Solomon, Lucy Harbaugh and Roger Hovatter.
She is survived by: her parent Frances Dixon Hovatter; and her sister Susan Ringer (Gary). She is also survived by 11 nieces and nephews and numerous grand nieces.
