It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lawrence Edward Wenner Sr. of Lovettsville, Virginia, born in Brunswick, Maryland, who passed away on January 30, 2022, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Katherine Frye Wenner; and his siblings, Herbert Wenner and Betty Staubs. He is survived by: his children, Karen Wenner Cooper (Joshua) and Larry Wenner Jr. (Lisa); his grandsons, Ben Cooper, Trip Wenner (Lawrence III), Ryan Cooper, Chase Wenner and Tyler Cooper; his sister Lucy Rutherford of Ranson; and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Frye Sanbower and Reginald Sanbower of Lovettsville. He is also survived by his son, then future son-in-law, and his 5 grandsons, many nieces, nephews, cousins and innumerable friends.
