He was predeceased by: his parents, Gerald Bowman and Mary Foreman Bowman. He is survived by: his children, Kelsea Bordoe of Round Hill, VA, Kevin Bowman of Austin, TX and Kim Williams (Joey) of Purcellville, VA; his grandchildren, Nora and Logan Williams; his siblings, Gary Bowman, Don Bowman, Steve Bowman and Shirley Perry; and his former wife Linda Bowman.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Jerusalem Lutheran Church.
