She was predeceased by: her father Charles Deener. She is survived by: her mother Wilma Shumaker Deener; her sister Bonnie Ross; and her nephews, Brian Deener and Jason Walsh Ross.

In lieu of flowers a memorial contribution may be made in Brenda's honor to the American Cancer Society and The Lovettsville Fire and Rescue Squad.
