It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wayne Morris McIlwee of Louisa, Virginia, born in Washington, District of Columbia, who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Wayne McIlwee. He is survived by: his wife Alice Bettis; his children, Alan McIlwee, Nina Mullins and Lori Pettry (Mickey); and his siblings, Kenneth Alvin McIlwee (Marty), Ida Mae Griffing and Bonnie Heuring. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.
