He is survived by: his parents, Thomas W. Filer, Sr. and Christine Campbell Filer; his wife Patricia O'Grady Filer; his children, Thomas Lewis Filer (Jennifer) of Louisa and Stephanie Garrison of Ruckersville; and his grandchildren, Lauren Filer, Lane Filer, Annabelle Garrison and Grace Garrison.
