He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Gilbert Ross and Bessie Pearl McDaniel (Pettit); his wife Emily McDaniel; his children, Thomas Wayne McDaniel (Cammie), Deborah Sue Bickley (Danny), Wanda Gayle Powell and Randy Payton; and his grandchildren, James Michael Hicks, Crystal Bickley Evatt (Thomas Evatt), Jennifer Marie Powell (Jamie), Richard Wayne Bickley Jr. (Melissa), Kimberly Ann McDaniel, Kelly McDaniel, Racheal McDaniel and Travis McDaniel. He was also cherished by his eight great-grandchildren; and a number of other extended family members friends.
