She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur R. McKinney Sr. and Lydia Bell Rice; her husband Calvin Wade Sexton, Jr.; her son Calvin Wade Sexton, III; and her son-in-law Bailey Lee McDowell.
She is survived by: her children, Karen Elaine McDowell of Louisa, Sandra Lynn Trainham of Orange, Vivian Marie Sexton of Louisa and Glen Sexton, Sr. (Theresa) of Mineral; and her grandchildren, Glen Sexton, Jr., Kimberley Jenkins, David Sexton, Tiffany Johnson, Daniel Sexton, Christopher Trainham, A. J. Johnson, Jessica Bevins, Timmy Basler, Samuel McDowell and Rachael Trainham. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
