It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rozine Marie Gibson of Louisa, Virginia, who passed away on January 5, 2021, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Jackson Brooks and Irene Brooks Acrors; her husband James Edward Gibson, Sr.; and her daughter-in-law Velvett Anne Gibson. She is survived by: her children, James Edward Gibson, Jr. and Kimberly Atwell (Charles); her grandchildren, Ryan Thomas Gibson (Brittany), Charles Tyler Atwell and Samantha Marie Atwell; her sister Stella Pennington; and her sister-in-law Jean Hawk.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday, January 8, 2021 in the funeral home chapel, with a graveside service to follow at Hillcrest Cemetery. We will be following CDC, COVID-19 guidelines and the mandates handed down by the Governor of Virginia on face covering and occupancy.
