He was predeceased by: his wife Ann W. Badgett; his parents, Ocie Sr. and Alonza G. Badgett Sr.; and his siblings, Alonza G. Badgett Jr., Virginia Baker, Mildred Goodwin and Coley.

He is survived by: his children, Linda B. Wooldridge (Walter), JoAnn B. Bucker (Joseph) and Patsy B. Goodloe (Colin); and his grandchildren, Candice, Jay, Robbie, Kelli, Erin and Caleb. He is also survived by his nine great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
