She was predeceased by: her parents, Theodore Ray (Ted) and Arleen Robertson Ray; and her brother Jerry Alan Ray. She is survived by: her husband David H. Lloyd; her siblings-in-law, Kathy Martin, Diane Saunders and Larry Lloyd; her great-niece Taylor Maddox; and her cousins, Linda Stillwell, Kathy Hicks, Dianne Gobbie, Carolyn Dunn, Rita Hall, Susan Fletcher, John Robertson, David Robertson and Aubrey Robertson.

Interment will follow in Hillcrest Cemetery Louisa.Those wishing to honor Melodie's memory with a donation may do so at the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation at 2727 Enterprise Pkwy, #104, Henrico, VA 23294 or at cff.org.
