She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert F. "Perk" Perkins, Jr. and Gladys Snider Perkins. She is survived by: her husband Joseph M. Bowers III; her daughter Kellye Throckmorton (Michael); her sisters, Ann Carol Gatewood (Roger) and Martha P. Williams; her aunts, Annis P. Mallory and Sylvia Perkins; her cousin Susan R. Hopkins; her close friends, Joyce Bickley, Sharon Hart, Mary Kennedy, Malachi and Tanner Russell; and her pets, Reese and Piper. She is also survived by seven nephews; four nieces; numerous cousins.
