He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leslie Jewel Abner and Oliver Clay Hanks; his sisters, Regina Hanks and Merson; his wife Caroline; his children, Carrie, Buddy (Teresa) and Kim (Jamie); his grandchildren, Jewel, Philip, Sarah, Jeff, Rachel, Kathryn, Brandy and Caroline; his great grandchildren, Mariah, Kaitlyn, Kassidy, Havelah, Titus, Kylie, Julian, Lily and Luke; and also Vance Robinson. He was also cherished by numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family and friends.
