He is survived by: his wife Deborah Ann Thornhill of Louisa; his daughters, Gwen Taylor of Mineral and Sheila Crebbs (Matthew) of Gordonsville; his brothers, Paul Thornhill (Laura) of Minnesota and Thomas Thornhill (Beth) of Arizona; and his grandchildren, Johnathan Taylor, Billy Taylor, Jr., Sarabeth Taylor and Christian Crebbs. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
