She was predeceased by: her parent Samuel Hunter; her spouse Henry Lawrence Desper (Peter); and her siblings, William Lewis Hunter, Marion Hunter, Helen Mae Hunter and Marie Davis.
She is survived by: her parent Rebecca Hunter; her child Lawrence Henry Desper (Skeeter); her wife Ta-Tanisha Desper of Waldorf; her siblings, Howard Hunter (Willie), Thomas Hunter (Rosetta), Bishop Linwood Sawyer (Yvonne) and Fannie Shelton (George); her aunt Martha Shelton; her siblings-in-law, Arthur L. Davis Sr., Alice Robinson (William) and Bessie Holland; and also Debra Ann Desper of Richmond. She is also survived by four grandchildren, one great-grandson, and one step-grandchild.
