He was predeceased by: his mother Mary Wood; and his granddaughter Danielle Elizabeth Reed. He is survived by: his wife Carol Elaine Burruss of Louisa; his sons, Paul Edward Burruss (Tina Handshew-Mohle) of Newville, PA and John Moore (Chris) of Lovettsville, VA; his grandchild Ashley Wall; and his friend Curtis.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
