He is survived by: his children, Susan C. Henshaw (Donnie), C. R. Cardinal Jr. and Dale Cardinal (Tammy); his sisters, Janice Cardinal (Ed Horton) and Faye Cardinal (Jerry Ferrell); and his siblings-in-law, Nattie T. Strong and Minnie S. Irwin. He is also survived by two grandchildren; five great-grandchildren.
